Because MO'N was 'one of us'. Some people just don't like WGS and never have, and there's nothing he can do to change their minds. Just bear in mind that only WGS and MO'N have managed back to back titles since Jock Stein was manager. Its an achievement which some people are far too quick to dismiss.

nanana thats bullsh1t.
I hate when certain people put it done to him not being 'Celtic Minded, like O'Neill'
But if that was the case Wim Jansen wouldn't be held in such high esteem. It was Fergus that was the problem there
So i think we can blow that one out the water.Your unfortunately listening to the likes of Hugh Keevins and writing it as your own.
And the board will not decide when he leaves,it will be the Celtic Supporters and it always will be the supporters.A bad season or half season and Strachan will be gone. There is a bit of the Rangers McLeish thing going on.The fans just don't like him and its not a minority as many people on this board dislike Strachan as like him.And they will be mercyless if things don't go right for a sustained period of time.
