i am not a strachan fan at all. probably for the reasons that you have mentioned above gaffney. especially playing players out of position seems really strange to me, he must think they can play in these. however it is evident that they cannot. and i don't have a clue what he is doing with riordan. i think he only came on yesterday because (not so) Magic got injured. here is a player that is desperate to get into the team, so he will play well (much better than the others), is eager and we are all in agreement that he should start.
don't get me started on beattie, the guy has the touch of a blind elephant. at the motherwell game, he raced to the penalty box, then stopped!!!! what an idiot! just shows that he is not celtic class.
i like graveson, not because of what he has done at celtic, but since of his past. i really liked him at everton and madrid and i hope he can play more and do the same short of stuff for us. the reluctance to play him by strachan shows that there is something he does not like about graveson. but why buy him then!!! the money we spend on his wages could have easily been used on another player, who he is actually going to use.
