Strong hint that there is the usual daft heavy bias towards short listing people with Celtic connections. Why limit it to such a small group? That brought us Macari and Brady so lessons should have been learned. How on earth are Lambo and Keane a sound suggestion-they have potential but thats all. They are at least 3 or 4 years away from having the management experience suitable for our great club.

As for our problems in terms of performance this season I think most of it is down to the astonishing injury problems. The crucial partnerships down the spine-centre backs, central midfield and strike pairings have had to chop and change every couple of weeks including an amazing amount of brand new combinations. Such bad injury luck usually costs teams the league and WGS has done very well to get the results with all these chages-its been like involuntary heavy rotatation.

The other thing is the really crucial replacements. Jarosic and Graveson are not as good all round as Petrov and both have fatal flaws (unbelievable lack of pace and positional indiscipline respectively). The creative one of the middle pairing is a crucial position and we have not filled that satisfactorily yet with Hartley also not settling in yet. We also clearly need a new striker and another pacey wide player IMO.
