it now appears that in the current climate we cant hope to compete with clubs in the english first division, never mind the premiership. for sure there is the odd gem to be found in lower divisions but in order to compete at the champions league level the type of player we need aint gonna fing the spl an attractive proposition, which means we are gonna stay at a level that simply isnt good enough to compete against the best. i forsee a future for celtic where probably more than half of the first team will have come through the ranks at lennoxtown.
